#WFPPlayoff Rd One No. 5 Baylor vs No. 12 Sakerlina

Baylor Bears vs Sakerlina Gamecocks
Floyd Casey Stadium
50 degrees, clear and breezy

First Quarter
After stopping the Bears on a three and out, Sakerlina rips off 6 minute drive that ends with Mike Davis hauling a 5 yard out from Connor Shaw Sakerlina 7-0

Second Quarter
There were a few back and forth drives then Sakerlina took advantage of a short field after a shanked punt. Mike Davis sprinted from 16 yards out putting the  Gamecocks up 14-0 heading into the half

Third Quarter
The Bears were the only squad to put points on the board in the third after Levi Norwood hauled in a 10 yarder from Bryce Petty. Baylor edges closer 14-7

Fourth Quarter
In the fourth quarter, these teams decided to score a few times
Sakerlina had a beautiful drive, that knocked 7 minutes off of the clock. This drive ended with Bruce Ellington nabbing a 21 yard strike from the arm of Shaw putting the Cocks up 21-7
Baylor quickly responded with a Clay Fuller foot race after receiving a swing pass from Petty. Fuller scored from 33 yards out closing the game to Sakerlina 21-14
After failing to recover an onside kick, Sakerlina sealed up the game with a 42 yarder from elliot Fry with less than a minute to go

Final Sakerlina 24 - Baylor 14

The Numbers:
Baylor held to 67 yards on the ground with 41 total carris: yeeesh
Sakerlina rushed for 200 yards, and were led by Mike Davis who got 135 on the ground
Bryce Petty nearly eclipsed the 300 yard mark through the air after finishing with 299
Sakerlina had 6.5 sacks including 4 from Kelcy Quarles

Sakerlina gives us our first upset of the Playoffs

Central Florida and Bama are up next......
